The town hall is a coner building with 2 floors and a turret on the roof.

The city council acquired the building, back then called “posada dels Monjos” (the monk´s inn) or “Can Sitjar”, in 1939 to use it as town hall.

The ground floor has a stone frontage whereas the upper floors are plastered.

Thr first floor has a single balcony which is crowned by a pediment and french balcony windows.

The entrance hall is highlighted by four large fluted columns, crowned by the town´s coat of arms, framing an imperial staircase.
