THE DESBANDÁ, or generalized and disorderly flight of the people of Malaga before the imminent entry of the occupying troops in February 1938, who did not hesitate to pursue them to exterminate them, is increasingly valued as one of the most tragic episodes of the Spanish civil war.

Surprisingly, the darkness and ignorance about this pernicious massacre have persisted practically to this day, and especially among the people of Benalmadena who were victims in great numbers, which shows the effectiveness of the terror unleashed and the unequivocal shame that this death has left as sequels.

Next Wednesday, May 2, 2018, we will dedicate our discussion to discuss the incomprehensible reasons for this event. Jesús Majada will help us in this one of the best experts on this subject.

It will be at 19:30 in the multipurpose room of the building ovoid Generalife Street 6 in Arroyo de la Miel.
