Andalusian Cultural Athenaeum Arbonaida of El Cuervo

The IV Conference of Archeology, History and Heritage of El Cuervo de Sevilla, are organized by the Andalusian Cultural Athenaeum Arbonaida in collaboration with the Delegation of Culture of the City Council of El Cuervo.
The fourth edition of these conferences, derived from the Archaeological Historical Project that the Athenaeum has been developing for more than four years, will take place between October 25 and 27 in different scenarios and will have 33 Andalusian researchers from different disciplines, which will address a wide spectrum of historical topics of interest from different sides, including, of course, the History of El Cuervo de Sevilla and its surroundings.
The conference will consist of:
1. Conferences, round tables and debates on October 25 and 26. Their titles, as well as the schedules, are detailed in the attached program. All will be held at the CCA José Moreno Vargas "El Mojiconero", headquarters of the Athenaeum at the House of Posts of El Cuervo in Seville. Admission is free until capacity is reached.
2. Celestial sighting. Friday, October 25 at 8:00 p.m. in the Rocío de la Cámara Park. Organized and interpreted by members of the Magallanes de Jerez de la Fra Association.
3. Guided historical route around the architecture of El Cuervo de Sevilla. Sunday, October 27 at 11 am from the House of Posts of El Cuervo.
In addition to the activities on display, SUNDAY, OCTOBER 27 AT 17H, the exhibition "THE LONGEST STREET IN THE WORLD. Architecture in El Cuervo de Sevilla between the 19th and 20th centuries" will be inaugurated, installed in the CC Casa de Postas and that will remain Visible until December 20. This exhibition will involve the presentation of the first results of the four years of research of the Archaeological Historical Project of the Athenaeum, bringing to light numerous information, photographs, documents, plans and other unpublished and unknown materials so far.
