Cafes in October
October 21, 2019 @ 6:00 pm to 7:45 pm
The "cafes" is an activity that recovers the scope of coffee as a meeting place to reflect, express and share our diverse visions about everyday life.
The dynamic is to go into a topic - not previously known - by going to the talk, debate and contrast between the different points of view. They go hand in hand, then, reflection and expression around issues related to each one's life and personal experiences, without it becoming a group therapy.
The goal is to express and share any sensation, feeling, emotion, thought or intuition to try to find a new reading of our experiences through communication. This means talking with the warmth of the heart about things that affect us.
It is an open activity that does not require knowledge of psychology or other discipline. New people can join each meeting if they wish and those who were previously may not attend. And although important issues that affect us on a daily basis are discussed, the pleasant and positive climate of a friendly coffee talk should not be missed.
In the "cafes" a person coordinates the development of the sessions, being able to mark the starting point or put on the table issues to be discussed and proposals to deepen the topic discussed. It is also your responsibility to manage the times to harmonize the subjective needs of expression with the dynamism that communication requires. In any case, from this approach, the methodology is enriched each session with the development of the proposal itself.
As Anton Chekhov, Russian playwright of the late nineteenth century said, people do not live heroics or great dramas every minute: “People eat dinner, they only eat dinner, and during those moments, their happiness is built or their lives crumble " All as simple and as complicated as everyday life, the one we live every day.
So do you fancy a cafes?
|The THIRD MONDAY of each month from 6 to 7:45 in the afternoon.
