On the occasion of the celebration of the bicentennial of the Constitution of 1812, it was held the Third Meeting of Ateneo de Andalucía in Cadiz, in the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Cadiz.

The session was chaired by Eduardo Gonzalez Mazo, Yolanda Peinado, Vicente Sanchez and the president of the Andalusian Federation of Ateneos, Luciano González Ossorio.

During the day, the historian Jesús Maeso gave a lecture entitled 'A novelist in the Cortes de Cádiz'. Then there was an audiovisual of 'The Monument to the Courts of Cadiz 1812' Hans Joseph Artz. And there was the delivery of class to a parent of the current Constitution of 1978 D. José Pedro Pérez-Llorca as Ateneo de Honor.

At noon in the Plaza of Spain, a wreath at the monument to the Constitution of 1812 it was performed.

The lunch was held at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters, enlivened with a musical performance. And in the evening, it took place a guided walk Twelve Cadiz, ending the day in the Plaza de San Juan de Dios.
