Manuel Bustos get 'Gaditanus Law' prize awarded by the Ateneo de Cádiz
Professor of Modern History at the UCA will collect the award at a ceremony on May 26 in Council
The issue of 'Gaditanus Law', awarded by the Ateneo de Cádiz, prize thirteenth went to the well - known professor of Modern History of the UCA, Manuel Bustos Rodríguez, as has announced the jury award, met this Thursday that reason.
Columnist, member of various academies, director of the Spanish-American Academy and author of a prolific work on the Cadiz Modern Age. Professor Bustos is a staunch defender of the celebration of the Tercentenary of the transfer of House of Hiring of Seville to Cádiz, whose extensive program of conferences and round tables has advice.
The jury, chaired by the President of the Ateneo, Ignacio Moreno has been integrated by Julio Cuesta, President of Honor of Cruzcampo, José Ramón Pérez Diaz Alersi, Enrique Maestre, Miguel Villanueva, Luis Gonzalo, José Antonio Hidalgo, Juan Antonio Macías Foundation and Antonio Ares, as secretary.
The award, sponsored by the Cruzcampo Foundation, represents a Hercules out of the sea in bronze by Manuel Virella. Bustos also receive an artistic diploma by Luis Gonzalo.
Delivery will take place on Friday 26 May at 20.00 in the provincial council.
