The cantaora Rocío Márquez, the playwright Juan Carlos Rubio, the creative agency Equipo Sopa, the editor Ricardo González Mestre, the writer Joaquín Pérez Azaústre, the director of the Archaeological Museum of Córdoba, María Dolores Baena, and the jurist and writer Antonio Manuel Rodríguez will receive Las Fiambreras de Plata 2018 granted by the Ateneo de Córdoba on Wednesday, June 13.
The jury was composed of the atheists Antonio Cano Coronado, María de los Ángeles Hermosilla Álvarez, María de la Soledad Contreras Gutiérrez, José Miguel Becerra Fernández, José María Zapico Ramos and Milagros Páez Pérez, acting as secretary Juana Pérez Girón, secretary of the board of directors, and chaired by Antonio Varo Baena, president of the Ateneo de Córdoba.
Las Fiambreras de Plata is a distinction created by the Ateneo de Córdoba in 1987 to recognize the work of people and groups in the arts, the sciences, the defense of human rights and other noble causes.
