Electronic Notifications COMMUNICATIONS AND SOCIAL SECURITY

This year the General Treasury of the Social Security gradually implemented mandatory communications system and electronic notifications as provided ESS/485/2013 Order.

According to the aforementioned order, will be required to electronically receive communications and notices that directs Social Security:

· The subjects are forced to join the RED system (Electronic Data Transfer System), regardless of whether or not accrued effectively.

Obligated to RED System as provided in the new Order ESS/484/2013:

- The companies, groups of companies and other individuals responsible for compliance with the obligation to contribute fitted in any of the schemes of the Social Security system, regardless of the number of workers remain high, and some special exceptions.

- The workers included in the RETA (Standalone), with the exception of the system relevant Special Agrar is self-employed, while only when entrepreneurs have the condition required by this system to transmit data relating to workers in this case will also be required to transmit the same system their own data as freelancers.

Not subject to forced RED system as planned in the new Order ESS/484/2013:

- General Scheme: bullfighting groups of professionals, sales representatives, employees Special System for Home and Industry Resinera Special System.

- Special Scheme Sea with respect to self-employed.

· The subjects are voluntarily participating in the RED system.

The electronic notifications are made by the system to appear in the Electronic Social Security (Sedesa). For access will be required to comply with certain technical requirements and have certified electronic certificate.

Those liable to receive mail "letter", the notification of the decision on their inclusion in the system, and will be required to appear in Sedesa to receive notices and communications electronically within one month, starting from the day following that on which they are notified of the decision on their inclusion in the system.
