ALTARPIECE

Great Plateresque altarpiece made between 1561 and 1569 mostly by Pietro Morone, a character who lived in the city of Tarazona and that he commissioned the work and was staying at Fustiñana for some time.

The paintings are the Annunciation, Visitation, Nativity, Presentation, Agony in the Garden, the Arrest, Flogging, Easter, Epiphany, Transfiguration, Pentecost and the Dormition of the Virgin.

Notable among other works of Pietro Morone, the altarpiece of the Church of San Miguel and Magdalena, both two Tarazona, murals in the Cathedral of Saragossa and Grisailles of the Marques de San Adrian Tudela Palace.
